CARNIVAL 2026: Empress Wings

CARNIVAL 2026: Empress Wings
Introducing the CARNIVAL 2026 Collection! Limited edition - available during the carnival season only.
Designing for Mardi Gras each year is my favorite exercise in excess - the perfect excuse to go as big, bold, bright, and kinetic as I want. How lucky am we, as New Orleanians, to have an entire season that celebrates the over-the-top, the dramatic, the fabulous?
This entire collection is uber-lightweight (perfect for dancing and long parade marathons) and distinctly Mardi Gras without being predictable. Whether you’re dancing at a parade, dressed up for a ball, or adding a splash of Mardi Gras to your workplace, this collection is here to bring pizazz to your carnival season!
Empress Wings are inspired by gemstones and feathers so often found in Carnival Costumes, and evoke the fabulous details of the Mardi Gras Indian costumes.
All my jewelry begins with pen and paper — I think of these earrings as wearable drawings. Asymmetry and an uneven line reminds the wearer that they were made by human hand.
Acrylic earrings featuring hypo-allergenic Titanium post backs. Large but lightweight, with lots of impact.
Size: about 3.75” long, 1.5” wide.

CARE:
Clean when needed with a microfiber cloth. Be gentle! Although acrylic is durable, it is not indestructible. Please be especially careful with small and delicate designs. Avoid perfume and sprays as it may damage the surface of the acrylic. If your design includes painted areas, avoid water. Most importantly: wear with joy!
